9:00 AM SYMPOSIUM BEGINS AT IN POLLAK THEATRE

FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE IN LOTS 13, 14, 16 and 18.

8:00 AM CHECK IN AT EDISON SCIENCE BUILDING
9:00 AM SYMPOSIUM BEGINS AT IN POLLAK THEATRE

FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE IN LOTS 13, 14, 16 and 18. FOLLOW THE SIGNS TO “WILL CALL”.

CHECK IN AND PICK UP T-SHIRTS AT EDISON SCIENCE BUILDING (#23 ON CAMPUS MAP) ADJACENT TO THE POLLAK THEATER (#25 ON THE MAP) BEGINNING AT 8:00 AM.  

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE WILL BE A BAG CHECK BEFORE ENTRY INTO EDISON.  NO LARGE BAGS OR BACKPACKS WILL BE PERMITTED.  SMALL BAGS AND CLEAR BAGS WILL ARE ALLOWED.

ONCE YOUR TICKET HAS BEEN SCANNED, YOU WILL BE PROVIDED A WRISTBAND WHICH YOU MUST WEAR IN ORDER TO LEAVE THE SYMPOSIUM AND RE-ENTER.

IF YOU ORDERED THE WRONG SIZE T-SHIRT WHEN PURCHASING YOUR TICKETS,
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO EXCHANGE THEM THAT DAY. WE WILL ALSO HAVE T-SHIRTS AND ADDITIONAL MERCHANDISE FOR SALE IN THE POLLAK THEATER LOBBY FOR PURCHASE DURING THE SYMPOSIUM.

THERE ARE ADA ENTRANCES TO ENTER BOTH HOWARD HALL/EDISON BUILDING AND THE POLLAK THEATRE.

IF YOU REQUIRE ADA ACCOMODATIONS AND SEATING IN THE THEATRE, PLEASE ADVISE US IN ADVANCE.

THERE IS A LINK TO A PRINTABLE CAMPUS MAP BELOW.

BOOKS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE FROM AUTHOR, JIM CULLEN, THE TUNNEL BOYS: BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, BILLY JOEL AND THE METROPOLITAN SOUND OF THE AMERICAN CENTURY (BOOK COMING OUT OCTOBER 12TH), PHOTOGRAPHER, NICKI GERMAINE, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: LIBERTY HALL AND PHOTOGRAPHER, BARRY SCHNEIER, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: ROCK AND ROLL FUTURE. THE AUTHORS WILL ALSO BE ON HAND TO SIGN THEIR BOOKS DURING THE LUNCH HOUR BREAK.

THERE WILL BE AN HOUR BREAK FOR LUNCH. LUNCH WILL NOT BE PROVIDED, BUT THE WEATHER PROMISES TO BE BEAUTIFUL AND THE CAMPUS HAS MANY OUTDOOR SEATING AREAS AVAILABLE FOR PICNIC LUNCHES IF YOU BRING A COOLER OR BAGGED LUNCH. THERE ARE ON-CAMPUS DINING OPTIONS AVAILABLE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE THEATER.  DUNKIN DONUTS IN THE STUDENT CENTER (#42 ON THE MAP) AND THERE IS BUFFET STYLE FOOD OFFERED IN MAGILL COMMONS DINING HALL (#34 ON THE MAP).

THERE ARE ALSO DINING OPTIONS WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF THE CAMPUS.  YOU MAY PRE-ORDER AND PAY ONLINE AND PICK THEM UP OR EAT THERE IF YOU CHOOSE TO GO OFF CAMPUS.  YOU WILL FIND A LIST OF NEARBY CAFES BELOW.

IF YOU WILL BE COMING IN FOR THE WEEKEND, YOU CAN FIND LINKS TO AREA ACCOMMODATIONS BELOW.
